Boer Fibre Passed the Project Achievements Evaluation

December 15, 2007, Qingyuan information technology center organized and held a meeting in Yuan Tan Town Hall, on the subject of “Enhanced Mineral Fibre Technical Research and Promotion” project discussing, which is finished by Qingyuan Boer Fiber Co.,ltd. The participating experts (composed by South China University of Technology-Engineering College, Wuhan University of Technology-Material College, Guangdong Functional Materials Engineering Technology R & D Center) listened to research reports and technical reports on the work, after visited the production workshop and discussion, the experts are showing their opinion as follows:

1) The project to its own reserves of about 50 million tons diabase as the major raw materials, make good use of innovative technology to make out diabase mineral fiber products the properties of enhancement, environmental-friendly and can be used as a substitute for asbestos fiber products. Products are recognized by users.

2) To take advantages of using domestic unique technology for removing shots, solved the traditional solution Dry Cleaner Technology problems, such as shots excessed or uncontrollable. Fibre shots content has reached the level of similar foreign products.

3) Using of special modification process,not only increasing the binding between fibre and rubber or resin, while also lowering the skin irritation, which making this product to being high mechanical properties and good environmental performance.

Evaluation Committee agreed that we exploit the new Wet Cleaner technology and surface modification to make out diabase fibre products through our local raw material, this project is innovation Obviously, the process of maturity of the technology, in the mechanical and environmental performance has obvious advantages, Application of a good promotion prospects. Research results up to the leading domestic level. Finally, the Evaluation Committee were unanimous that the project passed.
