Kaolin

In general, some material are found in kaolin ore, like: montmorillonite, illite, allophane, quartz, micaceous, pyrite, calcite, some organic materials and so on. Through sophisticated technique refining process, ores can be purified closely to its chemical composition in theory: SiO2 46.5%, Al2O3 39.5%, H2O 13.96%.Apparent color of kaolin is usually white or pale when the purity content is high, otherwise it shows yellow gray, light green or rose red color. The ore is densely packed or in loose earthy form, soft, slippery.

Kaolin is important to the production of daily use ceramics, industrial ceramics, construction and sanitaryware ceramics and refractory materials. It is also filler for paper, rubber, plastics, paints, textile and etc.
